Membership Sales Advisor

About the role

Midtown is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Membership Sales Advisor to attract members to its premium fitness clubs. The advisor is the first point of contact for new members and works closely with the rest of the sales team to support the new member experience. The team collaborates across fitness, racquet sports and spa areas.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and sell memberships in a consultative manner
• Meet sales goals and generate leads through prospecting, networking and member referrals
• Promote and attend club social events
• Act as club ambassador to local businesses, corporations and community members
• Build lasting relationships with prospective and current members

Required profile

• Previous sales experience with a proven track record of success
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication
• A passion for helping others improve the quality of their lives
• Willingness to listen to feedback and apply it
• Bonus points: teamwork, collaboration and a strong desire to learn

The membership sales team is paid on a commission and bonus basis. Transferrable skills and education are also considered, and other duties may be assigned as needed.
