MedTech Depot Field Service Technician (Nationwide Travel)

About the role

iQVIA's MedTech Depot Field Service Technician works in a medical device environment, receiving decommissioned units for reconditioning and supporting the service department. Training is provided and is paid. The position is 40 hours per week and involves nationwide travel.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming decommissioned units for reconditioning and organize service worksheets and customer paperwork.
• Transport instruments throughout the service department.
• Mix cleaning solutions and clean and decontaminate incoming instruments according to work instructions or manufacturer recommendations.
• Warehouse returned products for reconditioning, evaluation and loaner requirements, scrap products and waste materials for vendor pickup.
• Process service records after servicing, package products according to Bills of Material, and include service reports and shipping or quality documents, prioritizing shipments by customer need.
• Stock inventory in the shipping area and maintain UPS equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma at minimum.
• Ability to wear PPE, including safety glasses, in designated areas.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods, with frequent walking, stooping, reaching and fine and gross motor manipulation.
• Ability to lift and move boxes or equipment of 50 lbs or more.
• Commutable to the location and residing locally.
• Preferred: 0-2 years of experience as a field service technician in a medical device environment.
