Mechatronic Field Service Engineer

About the role

Rinvio is seeking a Mechatronic Field Service Engineer to provide on‑site technical service for industrial printing machinery across the United States. The role combines installation, commissioning, repair, and remote troubleshooting while supporting customers directly at their facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and repair printing machinery at customer sites.
• Identify electrical, mechanical, and control faults using schematics, wiring layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Diagnose PLC and servo equipment, adjust logic, and troubleshoot TCP/IP and industrial network issues.
• Resolve setup, component replacement, and print‑output quality concerns.
• Log service activities in JIRA, complete equipment records, and coordinate with global service teams.

Required profile

• Education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent experience with relevant training.
• Practical experience setting up, maintaining, and diagnosing industrial machinery.
• Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and support teammates during high workload periods.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening, background check, and occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lb.

• PLC fault diagnosis, ladder programming, and structured text.
• Servo technology and TCP/IP networking.
• Schematic interpretation and wiring layout analysis.
• High‑voltage power and control‑voltage circuitry knowledge.
