Electrical Engineer & Technical Support

About the role

Rinvio is seeking an Electrical Engineer & Technical Support professional to develop machine controls and provide on‑site technical assistance for industrial printing systems in Cincinnati. The role blends customer support with equipment troubleshooting and does not include supervisory duties.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update PLC software, servo‑motion routines, and touchscreen applications to optimise equipment performance.
• Create CAD drawings for panel configurations, electrical wiring, and associated bills of materials.
• Support assembly staff during startup and debugging, and assist service personnel with installations and field assignments.
• Investigate electrical and mechanical faults remotely, checking print quality, tolerances and specifications.
• Document equipment issues in JIRA and produce final equipment records, manuals and technical guidance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (electrical, mechatronics or related) with roughly two years of relevant experience.
• Strong electrical diagnostic ability, mathematical proficiency and clear communication skills.
• Methodical approach, attention to detail and effective time management under pressure.
• Local residency, occasional travel availability and willingness to undergo drug testing and background screening.

Required skills

• PLC programming using structured text and ladder logic.
• CAD‑based controls design and creation of wiring diagrams.
• Experience with servo‑driven machinery and touchscreen application development.
• Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking.
