Medication Assistance Program Assistant

About the role

The Medication Assistance Program Assistant provides standard program support and coordination for the Medication Assistance Program, serving as the first point of contact for patients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities, travel to sites, and provide on‑site support.
• Conduct interviews with residents, assist with pharmaceutical applications, and follow up on pending cases.
• Maintain databases, compose reports, edit program materials, and help update policies.
• Support patients through structured visits, phone follow‑ups, and culturally appropriate guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in public health, health outreach, or health education.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish.
• Community Health Worker certification or equivalent.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
