Medical Technologist / Lab Technician – Evening/Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist to join its General Lab team. This full‑time position works an evening/night rotation and includes on‑call and weekend duties, offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret laboratory tests of varying complexity, ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen integrity.
• Conduct quality control, report results, and communicate critical values or instrument issues to physicians and supervisors.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, perform start‑up and shutdown procedures, and keep work areas clean and stocked.
• Provide technical support and consultation to physicians, phlebotomists, and nursing staff.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological Sciences or Medical Technology.
• Florida state licensure at the technologist level, with specialties in Microbiology, Immunohematology, or related areas.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, ASCP certification, and at least one year of clinical experience.
