About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Medical Lab Technician/MT Generalist to perform high‑complexity, moderate‑complexity, and waived laboratory testing, including blood bank duties. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers a $20,000 sign‑on bonus and contributes to a nationally recognized health system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests using advanced clinical instrumentation and follow standard operating procedures.
• Confirm, verify, and independently report test results, monitoring for reasonableness and critical values.
• Conduct quality control, troubleshoot instrument issues, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Provide orientation and training for new employees or students.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or specialized diploma meeting CLIA grandfathered MLT regulations.
• Less than 1 year of experience with a clinical laboratory internship.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific documents in basic English.
• Dependable, flexible scheduling and basic mathematical skills.
