Medical Doctor – Primary Care & Hospital Physician

About the role

The Physician will deliver high‑quality primary, preventive, acute, chronic and emergency medical care across clinic, hospital and community settings while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary, acute, chronic, preventive and emergency care in clinic, hospital, nursing home, outpatient, inpatient, surgical and maternity environments.
• Maintain active hospital privileges and deliver inpatient, emergency, obstetric and surgical services as assigned.
• Develop positive patient relationships and ensure equitable care for all populations.
• Accurately document medical records in a timely and compliant manner.
• Fulfill clinic hours with flexibility for hospital duties, continuing education and patient needs.
• Participate in Quality Assurance, Peer Review, staff meetings, conferences and CME activities.
• Serve as a preceptor for physicians, PAs and FNPs when requested.
• Provide clinical, administrative, operational, policy, quality and regulatory consultation.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and adhere to organizational policies, including WE CARE standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School.
• Minimum one‑year internship.
• Current license to practice Medicine in Washington State.
• Knowledge of sound medical practice, healthcare regulations and experience with rural/underserved populations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
