Medical Director (MD) – Adult Primary Care

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified Medical Director (MD) to lead an adult‑only primary care facility in Louisiana. The position can start as part‑time and transition to full‑time, with Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm shifts. Work is primarily onsite with a future hybrid option.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses.
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care, laceration repair, and vaccine administration.
• Oversee clinic operations, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and supervise medical staff.
• Participate in daily rounding and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a fast‑paced environment while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Required profile

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active medical license in Louisiana.
• Significant experience in adult primary care settings.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑moving clinical environment.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and management of colds, flu, and other acute infections.
• Vaccination administration.
• Minor injury care, including laceration repair and wound management.
• Infection control and basic procedural skills.
