Medical Assistant – Family Medicine

About the role

The Medical Assistant will join Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Family Care team in Port St Lucie, providing patient‑first primary care across all ages. Working days from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, you will support clinicians in delivering high‑quality, preventive and chronic‑disease care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with screenings, specimen collection, tests, medication updates, and documentation of patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, communicate changes, and administer specific medications under provider direction.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and examination areas.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting program or equivalent military medical training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must obtain during new‑hire period if not already held).
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience with demonstrated proficiency.
