Med-Peds Physician – Primary Care at Community Health Center

About the role

We are seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Med‑Peds physician to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages at a community‑focused health center in California. The role blends medical, dental and behavioral health services, emphasizing health equity and community well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in evening and weekend clinic sessions to expand access.
• Support community outreach and engagement activities.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine‑Pediatrics residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine‑Pediatrics.
• Active California medical license, DEA registration and BLS certification.
• Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse populations and advancing health equity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
