Mechanical Utilities Engineer II

About the role

Hankook Tire seeks an experienced Mechanical Utilities Engineer II to lead proactive maintenance of utility systems supporting tire manufacturing, aiming for 100% uptime and world‑class reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve utility supply equipment such as air compressors, steam boilers, HVAC chillers, rooftop units, pipe systems, pumps and tanks.
• Ensure maintenance technicians have proper tools, parts, procedures and audit‑ready documentation.
• Capture, trend and report performance data to drive reductions in equipment faults, downtime, labor and material costs.
• Mentor assistant engineers and technicians, manage SAP inventory records and create consultation forms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of industrial air compressors, steam boilers, HVAC systems, pumps and pipe networks.
• Experience with SAP for inventory and procurement tracking.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and solve routine mechanical problems.
