About the role
Join Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center as a 3rd‑shift Machine Operator. You will operate Carbide Cells, loading and unloading machines, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly, and maintaining product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and adjust Carbide Cell machines using basic hand tools and measuring devices.
- Load files, clean blades, and load the feed magazine.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
- Identify, assess, and troubleshoot common machine problems.
- Inspect finished products for quality standards and adjust parameters to meet tolerances.
Required profile
- Ability to stand and be mobile for an 8‑hour shift.
- Hand dexterity and ability to lift up to 40 lb.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills appropriate for a machining environment.
Required skills
- Use of hand tools and measuring devices such as dial indicators and calipers.
- Computer and software navigation ability.
- Reading and following standard operating procedures and product prints.
