Material Handler – Logistics & Warehousing

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a motivated, process‑oriented Material Handler to support its electric aircraft manufacturing facility. The role focuses on operating forklifts and other handling equipment to move materials between receiving, bulk storage, and production areas while using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials.
• Execute put‑away, replenishment, kitting, and shipment tasks based on WMS signals.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and handle damaged or hazardous items.
• Maintain a clean, 5S‑compliant work environment and perform routine equipment inspections.
• Identify waste streams, support sustainability initiatives, and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably aerospace, automotive, or a startup.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• ERP systems such as PLEX, Oracle, or SAP.
• Google G‑Suite (Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets).
