Strategic Sourcing Associate

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Associate supports domestic supplier management for BDA’s brands and business groups, driving best‑in‑class vendor management and service support. The role works onsite four days a week in Woodinville, WA, with one remote day.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Strategic Sourcing Manager and cross‑functional teams to conduct vendor negotiations and ensure contract compliance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Provide governance and act as an escalation point for supplier issues using data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with sales, program, and buyer teams to translate requirements into supplier actions.
• Track cost savings, produce statistical analyses, and report to management.
• Coordinate supplier fairs, showcases, and assist with NDAs and contract reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of procurement or supplier management experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize changing priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of supply‑chain management fundamentals.
