Master Clinical Application Analyst

About the role

The Lead Application Systems Analyst supports IT Patient Systems, primarily the Epic Cadence application, within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Working with minimal supervision, you will ensure system integrity, compliance, and effective support for clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, test, and enhance Epic Cadence and related applications.
• Lead system build, testing, implementation support, and ongoing maintenance while meeting service level agreements.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate resolutions with users, vendors, and IT teams.
• Document change control procedures, create system documentation, reports, testing plans, and training materials.
• Provide on‑call support and mentor junior analysts, overseeing workload distribution and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least four years of IT or clinical experience, including one year managing processes or applications.
• Epic Cadence certification (Prelude certification preferred).
• Legal authority to work in the United States.
