Marketing Director

About the role

O’Keefe Media Group is seeking a Marketing Director to expand its audience, increase revenue, and build a loyal community around its news publication, podcast, and future media initiatives. The role reports to the Chief of Staff and requires a blend of creativity, commercial judgment, and rapid response in a politically sensitive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audience development, digital marketing, paid advertising, sponsorships, merchandise promotion, and subscription growth across YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, email, podcasts, and emerging platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership, production, journalism, development, and operations to turn content into effective growth and revenue campaigns.
• Manage budgets, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on audience behavior and platform performance.

Required profile

• Five or more years of experience in digital marketing, audience development, media marketing, or related fields.
• Proven success growing audiences, subscriptions, or digital revenue in a media or politically engaged context.
• Strong copywriting, editing, campaign development, and presentation skills.
