Marketing Coordinator – Entertainment Campaigns

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support end‑to‑end campaign development for HBO Max, translating business goals into culturally resonant ideas. This hybrid position in New York blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution across creative, product, CRM, media and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft clear campaign briefs that align business objectives with creative vision.
• Pitch and develop insight‑driven, culturally relevant campaign concepts.
• Share best practices and toolkits with international teams for global alignment.
• Track timelines, budgets and KPIs, reporting performance and optimization opportunities.
• Act as a connector across cross‑functional teams to ensure transparent, seamless execution.
• Support cross‑functional share‑outs with social, creative, media planning, growth marketing, merchandising, retention, original marketing, corporate communications, operations and international teams.
• Build rapport and influence across a highly matrixed organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of brand marketing experience at an entertainment company or creative agency.
• Understanding of direct‑to‑consumer streaming marketing, including creative approaches and owned channel touchpoints.
• Strong grasp of cultural trends, pop culture and the entertainment landscape.
• Proven ability to support cross‑functional teams in campaign development and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple fast‑paced projects.
