Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules for the assembly of sanitary units used in rail vehicles. Working at Rolen Technologies' Rochester facility, you will coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed production plans aligned with customer delivery timelines and internal capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and engineering to guarantee material availability and technical readiness.
• Monitor assembly progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust plans to mitigate delays.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to improve workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain BOM and changes in SAP, create and update work instructions, PFMEA, process diagrams, and packaging documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning or project engineering in a manufacturing environment; rail or sanitary systems experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
