Manufacturing General Manager & Site Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing General Manager & Site Leader to head a 150‑associate plant near Cordele, GA. The role carries full P&L responsibility and provides both strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership to ensure operational excellence, profitability, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all plant functions including production, maintenance, quality, engineering, safety, environmental compliance and administration.
• Set priorities, schedule work and supervise the plant leadership team to meet financial and operational targets.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost reduction.
• Oversee production scheduling and control processes to guarantee on‑time customer delivery.
• Identify and implement manufacturing method, system and process enhancements to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Optimize utilization of labor, materials, equipment and capital to maximize profitability.
• Develop workforce through coaching, succession planning, training and performance management.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership and shared services to leverage resources and improve performance.
• Maintain equipment, facilities and housekeeping standards.
• Provide strategic EHS leadership and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management.
• 10–15 years of progressive manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering operational results.
• Strong business acumen with ability to read financial reports, budgets and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
