Manager - People Analytics

About the role

The Manager of HR Analytics leads the day-to-day activities and builds the competencies of the HR Analytics team, which conducts advanced modeling and analytics of HR and financial data to give strategic, actionable insights. The team works with internal HR clients to define information needs, run data and process analyses, recommend actions and deliver analytical projects supporting the organization's strategy. The position is virtual, based in Georgia, with 3-5 direct reports and typically reports to the Senior Manager of HR Analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analyses of HR, payroll and related business data and processes, focusing on trends, root causes and solutions (30%)
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, presentations and analytical tools that inform HR clients and business leaders (40%)
• Manage projects with stakeholder involvement, communications, change management and sustainability plans (15%)
• Support hiring and onboarding, build team culture, coach, mentor and evaluate team members (15%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• 2+ years of previous leadership experience
• 5 years of preferred experience
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to influence stakeholders

Required skills

• Advanced statistical analysis and modeling of business data, preferably in HR, payroll, benefits and finance within a retail or large service organization
• Excel and PowerPoint with advanced spreadsheet analytics
• Preferred: Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python/R, generative AI tools, low-code automation tools, data governance and ethical AI awareness
