Manager, Events & Experiences

About the role

The Manager, Events & Experiences will support Saks’ strategy by creating personalized in‑store customer experiences and events. Reporting to the AVP, Events & Experiences (Stores), you will act as the primary liaison between store marketing teams, vendors and merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of in‑store events across all Saks full‑line stores.
• Align merchant and vendor event requests with store strategies, securing funding approvals and tracking ROI.
• Uphold and audit Saks brand standards for every event and experience.
• Partner with the Saks Limitless (VIP) team on high‑level customer travel, events and experiences.
• Attend and support flagship events in the US and Canada as needed.
• Drive innovation by drawing inspiration from culture, customers and other industries.
• Manage ad‑hoc responsibilities and support the AMDs in client acquisition and retention.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of event‑related experience in fashion, entertainment or retail.
• Strong business and financial analysis skills with retail math acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and solve problems quickly.
• Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• University or college degree.
• Willingness to travel as required.
