Manager, Digital Connectivity

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Digital Connectivity to lead hands‑on expertise across its connected ecosystem of equipment, software, and integrations. The role focuses on mapping customer ecosystems, ensuring interoperability, and managing release testing and approval.

Key responsibilities

• Map each customer’s complete ecosystem, including systems, dependencies, and data flows.
• Support technical aspects of installations to ensure clean connectivity across equipment, software, and integrations.
• Own business‑side release management, coordinating readiness, sequencing, and sign‑off for new functionality and upgrades.
• Test products from the customer perspective and provide approval before release.
• Maintain connectivity health across Alcon’s ecosystem, including EHR/EMR integration.
• Apply and help govern HL7, FHIR, API, and SOAP integration standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• HL7 integration standards.

• API development and usage.
• SOAP web services.
• EHR/EMR connectivity knowledge.
