Manager Compensation (Virtual)

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Manager Compensation for a virtual position in Georgia. The role manages the compensation function across several organizations or several compensation functions, designing, implementing and driving programs such as base pay, incentive pay and equity programs, including executive compensation. It may also advise HR clients and business partners on compensation decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop and optimize compensation programs and opportunities using strong analytical skills, and recommend improvements to business partners and leadership (e.g., executive programs, wage rates and policy, incentive design, acquisition integration).
• Manage and oversee the work of Analyst or Senior Analyst associates, either directly or through an indirect reporting line.
• Partner with HR and operational business partners to support ad hoc requests and specific compensation needs.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job; 4 years of preferred experience.
• Travel of 5% to 20% of the time, typically overnight; mostly sits in a comfortable indoor setting.
