Manager, Analytics Development

About the role

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is looking for a Technical Manager to lead a team of developers and maintain and develop applications and modules for the Analytics Technology Business within the LSEG Data & Analytics Division. The role focuses on extending and modernizing existing services and applications, using cloud technologies to improve performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in building solutions to customer technology needs.
• Develop and maintain a compute platform for financial models serving external and internal clients.
• Maintain, design and set up infrastructure supporting various applications, and improve its performance, quality and efficiency.
• Design technical solutions with other teams and estimate timelines and resources for complex projects.
• Migrate applications to the cloud without service disruption.
• Build strong relationships with senior technical staff and work on products used by leading financial institutions worldwide.

Required profile

• 6+ years of work experience.
• 2+ years in a technical team or project leadership role.
• 2+ years working with Linux/Unix environments.
• 3+ years developing C/C++ enterprise solutions.
• Distributed team experience across multiple sites and time zones, and experience presenting to product teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
• Proficiency in English is a must.

Required skills

• Strong C/C++ skills: data structures, networking, databases, services.
• Experience building and deploying C/C++ services to the cloud (Kubernetes, Lambda functions).
• Experience with Python or another high-level language.
• Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus; AWS or Azure certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and infrastructure, and of fixed income securities/markets, is a plus.

What we offer

• Anticipated base salary of $170,000 - $283,300, depending on location.
• Eligibility for the Annual Incentive Plan (bonus plan).
