Managed Care Analyst - HCI & Dual Programs

About the role

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Bureau of Managed Care, is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Managed Care Analyst to provide operational and analytical support for the State's managed care programs. The position supports the account management team by coordinating meeting materials, tracking follow-up items, preparing operational reports and maintaining documentation on Managed Care Organization (MCO) activities. It works under the direction of the MCO Account Manager and FIDE SNP Program Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting materials and track follow-up items
• Gather data, organize information and support routine monitoring activities
• Prepare operational reports and maintain documentation related to MCO activities
• Attend selected MCO meetings in a support capacity, taking notes and preparing summaries

Required profile

• Dependable and organized, comfortable in a fast-paced setting with multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual skills are welcome
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the State does not sponsor visas

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to compile accurate data and reports

What we offer

• Anticipated starting salary of $6,820 per month, with a full range of $6,820-$9,875 per month
• Full-time, salaried position, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hybrid schedule of 2 to 5 days per week in the office, depending on operational needs
• Union position covered by the collective bargaining agreement
