Maintenance Technician – Saratoga Down (Napa)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Saratoga Down community in Napa. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday with rotating on‑call duties.
