Leasing Professional – Westgrove Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Westgrove community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect and ready apartments for move‑in, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units to company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily operations.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of lease extensions.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, escalating issues to the appropriate team.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on the property).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with all state and local licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
