Maintenance Technician – Lantower Ambrosio

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and scope of work.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and OSHA training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to on‑call requests.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 refrigerant certification
• EPA Type II refrigerant certification
• EPA Universal refrigerant certification
