Maintenance Technician – Portland Metro Area

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its Portland Metro Area team. The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, and supports nine residential locations from Portland to Salem. Occasional on‑call availability is required, and employees enjoy a 40% rent discount.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance across multiple apartment communities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate work orders and documentation for all service activities.
• Coordinate with property managers to prioritize work and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Respond to on‑call requests outside regular hours as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple locations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Willingness to be on call occasionally.
