Maintenance Technician – Pax Place at Cascades

About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pax Place, a Cascades community in Sterling, Virginia. The role involves ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
- Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to minimize equipment downtime.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors to complete necessary work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required profile
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical manuals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication with residents, vendors and team members.
