About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor I will oversee the upkeep and operation of the farm shop facilities located in the Combine/Navasota area. This position is part of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) workforce and reports to the appropriate supervisory chain.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities within the farm shop.
- Ensure that equipment, tools, and infrastructure are kept in safe and functional condition.
- Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage work orders and track completion of repairs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Required profile
- Ability to work on-site at the Combine/Navasota location.
- Experience in supervising maintenance tasks or similar responsibilities.
- Familiarity with basic safety and operational procedures.
Required skills
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Use of hand and power tools.
