Maintenance Supervisor for Avanti Brookhaven Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the Avanti Brookhaven community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, ordering supplies, completing maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, and parking lots.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to supervise staff, coordinate vendors, and manage inventory.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s operational policies.
