About the role
This PRN position supports the Neurology Ambulatory Operations team at Hillcrest Hospital. The caregiver will collect patient data, implement care plans, and monitor responses to treatments in an outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and document objective and subjective patient data.
- Complete nursing assessments and report findings.
- Implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and communicate patient responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions and perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members about care and treatment.
Required profile
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
- Preferred: at least one year of patient care experience.
Required skills
- Practical nursing clinical skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
- Ability to perform routine laboratory tests.
