LPN – Neuroscience Unit

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Neuroscience Unit at Marymount Hospital. This position works on a day/night rotating schedule providing direct patient care under RN supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document objective and subjective patient data.
• Report observations to the RN or authorized health care provider.
• Implement nursing care plans and administer medications or treatments as directed.
• Monitor patient responses, adverse reactions, and perform routine lab tests.
• Contribute to revisions of the nursing care plan and provide patient/family education.
• Participate in orientation of new employees and maintain professional development.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications if working in the Emergency Department (upon hire or within one year).
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
