About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse will join the Neurology department at Florida Weston Hospital, providing patient‑centered care on a day shift (8:00 am‑5:00 pm). This position offers hands‑on clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional development within the Cleveland Clinic system.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care, administer medication, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Complete authorization forms, laboratory requisitions, and pain‑management assessments.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals, Code Blue protocol, and infection‑control practices.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program and Florida LPN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of clinical or LPN experience preferred.
Required skills
- Knowledge of infection‑control practices.
- Computer literacy and EPIC electronic health‑record experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
