About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on the G81 unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing care on a specialty step‑down unit for ENT/Plastics and a general medical unit for Internal Medicine. The role involves rotating day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
Implement and revise care plans under RN supervision.
Administer medications and treatments authorized by a provider, monitoring for adverse reactions.
Perform routine laboratory tests and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
One year of patient care experience preferred.

Required skills

Medication administration and treatment delivery.
Patient monitoring and documentation.
