LPN – Cardiothoracic Surgery (Day Shift)

About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse will join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Florida Weston Hospital, providing patient‑centered care during a regular 8:00 am‑5:00 pm day shift.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care, administer medication, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Complete authorization forms, laboratory requisitions, and pain‑management assessments.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals, Code Blue protocol, and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program and Florida‑licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of infection‑control practices and basic computer literacy.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
- Computer literacy for electronic medical record systems.
