About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide ambulatory chronic care services at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, supporting patients to manage chronic diseases and maintain quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
- Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and report findings.
- Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
