About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General Breast Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high‑quality patient care in an ambulatory setting. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports rapid diagnosis and treatment for women with breast health concerns.

Key responsibilities

Provide patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, or other qualified providers.
Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and report findings.
Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
One year of patient care experience preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Ohio.
