LPN Ambulatory – Allergy and Immunology

About the role

The Hillcrest Hospital Allergy and Immunology team provides comprehensive, evidence‑based diagnosis and management for a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders. The LPN will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and physicians to deliver patient care during daytime ambulatory hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities, collect and document objective and subjective data.
• Complete nursing assessments, implement care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings to the care team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to perform patient assessments and document clinical data.
