Logistics Specialist - Procurement

About the role

The Logistics Specialist – Procurement will support Black Box’s data‑center projects by managing the end‑to‑end flow of materials and equipment. You will work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and cost‑effective procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, ordering, tracking, and delivery of materials and equipment (OFCI/CFCI).
• Ensure on‑time delivery to meet project milestones and site requirements.
• Maintain vendor relationships, subcontractor purchase orders, RMAs, and large rental/vendor programs.
• Support accounts‑payable activities, including invoice‑to‑PO matching, credits, vendor payment coordination, and issue resolution.
• Prepare monthly reports, monitor KPIs, and drive cost‑saving and margin‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in weekly client and site meetings to guarantee logistics deadlines are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar logistics or procurement role.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.

Required skills

• Order entry and goods receiving in SAP.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP system) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong reporting skills, including use of Excel.
• Ability to track deliveries and manage material trackers.
