Logistics Lead

About the role

AMAX is looking for a Logistics Lead in Fremont to manage daily shipping and logistics operations so that customers receive their orders on time. The role works closely with Production, Planning, Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Customer Service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments using multiple carriers and freight forwarders.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs documentation and customer-specific shipping instructions.
• Monitor shipping priorities and resolve logistics issues proactively to minimize delivery delays.
• Optimize transportation costs while keeping service quality and delivery performance high.
• Analyze shipping performance metrics and run continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Help develop and standardize shipping procedures and work instructions.

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in shipping or logistics operations.
• At least 2 years of team lead experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with shipping systems.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping processes.
• Knowledge of freight carriers, customs documentation, Incoterms and export compliance.
• Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
