About the role
The Associate, Commercial & Wholesale Operations supports back‑office activities for commercial loan and letter of credit products, ensuring efficient delivery of services to Santander’s clients. This role involves interpreting credit agreements, performing calculations, and handling reconciliations and remediation.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret credit agreements and calculate loan/fee accruals for new loans, modifications, and extensions.
- Perform complex operational transactions, research issues, and take corrective actions.
- Provide leadership in the absence of the manager and train new employees on systems and procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial loan operations.
- Strong knowledge of syndicated and commercial loan products, market initiatives, and banking regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using various bank systems.
What we offer
- Base salary range $63,750 – $107,500 annually.
