Analyst, Fraud Risk Management

About the role

The Sr. Specialist, Claims & Fraud Operations is responsible for managing fraud risk, ensuring compliance, and delivering a positive customer experience while supporting continuous improvement and robust reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify risk factors and trends of potentially fraudulent activity using technical data analysis and statistical interpretation.
• Increase operational efficiencies to streamline process flows and enhance fraud prevention effectiveness.
• Monitor and review fraud risk, complex exceptions, and security exception files.
• Conduct root cause analysis to predict, prevent, and mitigate risk within processes.
• Develop trending reports and key indicators as early warning signals for fraudulent activity.
• Communicate significant issues to management and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform routine analytical review of data and documentation for fraud/risk activities.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in financial services, customer service, operations, or fraud prevention.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of fraud detection/prevention principles and compliance issues.
• Experience with fraud systems such as Lexus Nexus, Targus, Tran Union TLO.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop strategic recommendations.
