Live-In Home Health Aide – New Jersey

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Live‑In Home Health Aides to provide 24‑hour care in clients' homes across New Jersey. You will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and health monitoring while living on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Provide range‑of‑motion exercises, transfers, and use mechanical lifting devices as needed.
• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and assist with medication administration.
• Remain in the home for the assigned 24‑hour period and be available intermittently throughout the day.

Required profile

• Minimum one full year of experience as a Home Health Aide or related non‑healthcare work.
• Active New Jersey HHA license and completion of a recognized HHA training course.
• Passion for caregiving, empathy, patience, and a commitment to high‑quality patient care.
• Ability to attend in‑person orientation and pass a skills evaluation with the Clinical Manager.
