Litigation Support Analyst (Document Management Analyst II)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Litigation Support Analyst (Document Management Analyst II) in Washington, DC, to support the Department of Justice Criminal Division Fraud Section Special Matters Unit. The role provides case management and database maintenance assistance, using automated litigation support and eDiscovery tools, and works closely with the unit's attorneys in a fast-paced setting. It involves witness interview support, deposition preparation and in-courtroom trial support, with up to 10% travel across the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Perform legal and administrative duties requested by attorneys for investigations and trials
• Organize and maintain cases, prepare the team for witness interviews, discovery and trials
• Provide in-courtroom assistance, exhibit collection and review, and legal research
• Use eDiscovery platforms to review documents and summarize findings
• Maintain relationships with DOJ components, federal agencies, counsel and others
• Log and organize discovery productions, proofread materials and summarize articles, reports and witness statements
• Review documents for relevance against established guidelines

Required profile

• Three years of experience on major litigation support projects or an undergraduate degree
• Hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment
• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice system
• DOJ MBI clearance obtainable (US citizenship required)
• Desired: eDiscovery and Relativity experience, quality control analysis, bi-lingualism

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Word processing, spreadsheets, imaging and hardware systems
• Desired: automated litigation support and document review experience
