Line Cook

About the role

The Sheraton St. Paul Woodbury Hotel is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items in line with production requirements, guest service standards, and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards, production, and portion standards.
• Set up and manage food prep stations, date and rotate containers, and ensure proper storage temperatures.
• Monitor inventory, note out‑of‑stock items, and assist with food cost control and waste reduction.
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen tools and equipment while adhering to safety and OSHA standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related line‑cook experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb, and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Required skills

• Food preparation following recipe cards.
• Knowledge of food safety, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
