About the role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) on a PRN basis to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care to residents in a long‑term care setting. The role focuses on direct patient care and supervising daily nursing activities on an assigned unit.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities on the assigned unit.
- Maintain compliance with long‑term care laws, regulations, and facility policies.
- Accurately document patient care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Required profile
- Valid Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- IV certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long‑term care regulations.
