About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a primary‑care setting in Prairieville. The LPN will work under the direction of a registered nurse, delivering high‑quality, personalized care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Provide comprehensive care covering physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
Adapt quickly to changing unit demands and maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and credentials.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current state‑licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred IV therapy credentials.
Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
